Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is seeking a Global Operations Associate to manage freight forwarding shipments across multiple modes, ensuring high-level operations excellence and a quality customer service experience while meeting station KPIs. You will track outbound shipments, inspect freight, arrange carriers, negotiate rates, run reports, and support a fast-paced team.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to type 35+ words per minute.
• Able to work in a demanding, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Tracking and tracing outbound shipments.
• Inspecting outbound freight.
• Contracting new carriers and assigning load tenders.
• Communicating freight status to stations and customers.
• Provide customer service and run reports.
• Data entry of shipments into TMS.
• Domestic air and ground routing.
