American International Transportation, Inc. is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to help track and trace shipments, schedule appointments, and enter shipment data, ensuring on-time departures and arrivals. The ideal candidate is driven, dependable, and a true team player.

Experience in logistics/transportation and strong data entry skills are valued. This onsite role offers opportunities to work with carriers and customers in a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED; Associates preferred.
• Experience in logistics/transportation preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools and Transport Management Systems (TMS); Aljex experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service attitude and attention to detail.
• 1–3 years of data entry experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational excellence to customers, carriers and suppliers.
• Prepare itemized invoices and record amounts due for items purchased or services rendered.
• Process Carrier Onboarding paperwork, including data entry and document collection.
• Set appointments with carriers via phone and email.
• Provide timely and accurate shipment information to carriers.
• Audit load information for accuracy and completion.
• Complete customer, carrier and supplier requests with urgency.
• Track and trace shipments to best serve customers.
• Enter shipment data with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Inform carriers of order information, such as unit prices and shipping dates.
