Job summary

Relief International seeks a dedicated Supply Chain and Operations Officer to support procurement and RI base infrastructure in Gaza. You will ensure compliance with RI and donor policies, coordinate purchases, manage invoices, and assist with fleet, inventory, and security-related processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in administrative and logistics roles.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Basic knowledge of mechanics and ability to perform small repairs during emergencies.
• Familiar with MS Office pack.

Responsibilities

• Support purchases of the base.
• Prepare all documents for the purchase file and get them approved and signed by authorized persons.
• Purchase items complying with requester specification and donor rules.
• Control invoices and ensure accuracy of prices and quantities received.
• Ensure quality of purchase and respect delivery deadlines and liaise with requesters for technical support.
• Prepare and update procurement trackers and the vendor list.
• Support the Supply Officer on supplier’s assessment and evaluation.
• Follow-up of the suppliers’ payments with cashier and finance.
• Transfer approved invoices and documents to finance for payment.
• Conduct physical inventory in stock and assets.
• Monitor buildings and equipment and assist with small repairs; fleet management support.
