Job summary

Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) in Ramallah and other WB offices is seeking a Logistic Technical Assistant to support day-to-day logistics responsibilities. The role reports to the Logistics Manager and involves asset records, procurement coordination, and coordination with ICT and program/support departments.

Contract duration is 12 months with potential renewal based on funding and performance. The position requires a valid driver’s license and ability to work under pressure in a humanitarian

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in humanitarian context preferred.
• Knowledge of procurement and asset management in INGO context.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to NRC policies and donor requirements.
• Assist with implementation of logistics portfolio according to Plan of Action.
• Provide logistics administration and basic support.
• Maintain filing of support documents.
• Assist in planning and delivery of logistics activities.
• Maintain logistics records, assets and equipment.
• Promote ideas for improvement of the logistics function.
• Coordinate with Logistics Coordinator, Procurement Coordinator and ICT.
• Support asset annual physical check and loss/damage reporting.
