Job summary

Owens Corning in Joplin, MO seeks a Materials Coordinator/CCO to manage shipping of finished goods and customer returns. You will operate SAP, prepare documentation, and coordinate transport to optimize cost and efficiency.

The role involves clerical shipping/receiving tasks, inventory support, forklift operation, and ensuring compliance with safety and SOX requirements. Strong organizational skills and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years related experience in an industrial environment.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required; Associates Degree preferred
• Office Management, warehouse, shipping/receiving experience preferred
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be a US citizen or have the right to work in the US
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
• SAP knowledge
• Familiarity with USPS, FedEx and other shipping systems a plus
• Six Sigma, TPM, and 5S practices are familiar
• Ability to achieve results quickly; both individually and through teams
• Must maintain schedule flexibility to ensure smooth production

Responsibilities

• Ensures that safety rules are communicated and followed, including PPE usage.
• Clerical duties for shipping/receiving materials, including packing lists and documentation.
• Operate SAP to input and retrieve data.
• Prints reports to optimize loading points for shipments and cost savings.
• Process data and documents per customer requirements.
• Communicate shipping information to customers and internal teams.
• Complete records and reports (POs, bills of lading) and filing.
• Operate forklift as required; pack materials for shipment.
• Assist in inventory and cycle counting; ensure accuracy.
