Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Transportation/Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in management, transportation/logistics, business administration, account management, or related field or equivalent military experience
• Willingness to travel and regionally relocate depending on account assignment

Responsibilities

• Learn to build and maintain positive relationships with drivers and outside carriers for carrier setup and productivity
• Fill in for absent personnel and support fleet optimization and profitability initiatives
• Learn to supervise drivers and staff, including training and orientation
• Develop reporting and financial analyses for customers and internal use
• Manage inventory, assets, and driver assignments to balance equipment
• Perform payroll and budgeting related administrative duties
• Coordinate with maintenance for preventative maintenance and safety issues
• Assist with load planning, routing, and issue resolution throughout the day
