Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. in Stone Mountain, GA is seeking a Manager Trainee to learn broad logistics management, including driver supervision, route planning, and compliance with DOT regulations.

The role supports the Supply Chain department and offers full-time hours with potential advancement opportunities. Responsibilities include developing carrier relations, assisting on special projects, and building proficiency in fleet operations, safety, and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Willing to travel to account and event locations as applicable.
• Able to work across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends.
• Willing to relocate regionally based on account assignment.

Responsibilities

• Learn to build and maintain relationships with drivers and carriers to ensure seamless onboarding and productivity.
• Fill in for absent personnel and work on projects to optimize fleet operations and profitability.
• Train drivers on internal and customer systems and assist with reporting and analysis.
• Assist with planning, routing, and monitoring freight to meet customer requirements and on-time delivery.
