Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred.
• 3+ years in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field.
• 2+ years managing and leading direct reports.
• Excellent knowledge of Transportation and/or Warehouse Logistics operations – advanced.
• Excellent knowledge of safety and security requirements – advanced.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily fleet operations and planning.
• Develop policies for efficient transportation systems and terminals.
• Set schedules, routes, and assign drivers and vehicles.
• First point of contact for operational information and driver concerns.
• Analyze vehicle and driver schedules to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor reports to evaluate productivity and implement improvements.
• Recruit, orient, train, and monitor progression of new drivers.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Direct maintenance of equipment and communication systems; assist with budgeting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
