Job summary

Safran Group in Los Angeles is seeking a Manager, Logistics to oversee all material handling, inbound and outbound flow, and inventory accuracy at the site. The role drives KPIs and collaborates with manufacturing and planning teams to optimize performance.

You will manage daily logistics operations, develop procedures, ensure cycle counts, and lead continuous improvement. Requires 8+ years in warehousing, 2-5 years in management, strong Excel/ERP experience, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (+4 years without degree) is required.
• 8+ years of experience in warehouse/shipping/receiving operations is required.
• 2-5 years of experience in a managerial role is required.
• Experience analyzing inventory and making adjustments to reduce cash while maintaining high levels of customer service is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily management of logistics functions and track performance for internal and external customers.
• Develop and document work procedures and ensure staffing levels support manufacturing and planning requests.
• Ensure cycle count accuracy and completeness per Safran standards.
• Plan stockroom layout considering turnover, size, weight, and items stored.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing and supply chain.
