Job summary

Safran Cabin in Los Angeles, CA, seeks a Supervisor, Logistics to lead a stockroom team and manage daily operations within our production logistics workflow. You will oversee stockroom clerks, ensure accuracy, and coordinate with planning and production to optimize material delivery.

The role requires 7+ years in manufacturing with 2+ years in leadership, forklift certification, and strong knowledge of warehouse procedures and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience (+2 years).
• Knowledge: warehouse/stockroom procedures, standards and Quality Control Systems.
• Forklift experience and certification preferred; certification within 30 days.
• 7+ years in manufacturing, plus 2 years of leadership experience.
• Proficient use of Word, Excel and ERP system.
• Ability to lead teams, conduct meetings, delegate, and train/coach employees.

Responsibilities

• Supervise stockroom clerks, plan work assignments, schedule daily activities and overtime needs.
• Develop time standards for each job function and clearly communicate expectations to employees.
• Train stockroom staff on Safran Logistics and Stockroom Standards as well as MRP transactions.
• Execute cycle counts in an organized manner and maintain inventory cycle count program.
• Analyze cycle count results to identify problem areas and implement improvements.
• Monitor supply usage patterns and place purchase requisitions.
• Interface with Planning and Production to establish and improve material delivery practices.
• Understand and complete transactions in ERP system to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Ensure all safety requirements are met for mobile equipment, inventory area and raw material storage area.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
