Job summary

Delavan Holdings is seeking a Warehouse Lead to guide a designated process and ensure daily task completion across the team. You will coordinate shipments to meet customer specs, using WMS, ERP, and port portals, while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in warehousing, at least 1 year in a lead role, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to motivate others to improve on-time performance and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse or logistics experience, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of shipping methods, routing practices, and freight terminology.
• Experience with WMS and shipping software.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Motivate team members to complete tasks daily for designated duties.
• Route and ship orders to ensure timely, accurate fulfillment using WMS/ERP/portals.
• Coordinate outbound shipments and carrier selection (LTL/FTL/ parcel).
• Review shipping docs (bills of lading, packing lists, labels).
• Monitor shipping schedules, dock appointments, carrier pickups.
• Resolve delays with transportation providers.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA and safety standards.
• Conduct daily shipment audits for accuracy.
• Collaborate with customer service, sales and inventory to resolve issues.
• Train and mentor warehouse staff in shipping procedures.
