Job summary

Peli BioThermal in Maple Grove, MN, is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to lead daily operations, ensure on-time deliveries, and maintain inventory accuracy. The role partners with Production, Purchasing, Sales, and Operations to optimize material flow and performance.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 3+ years of leadership in manufacturing/warehouse/logistics.
• Experience leading teams in fast-paced manufacturing or regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Knowledge of cGMP, ISO, quality systems, and compliance standards.
• Understanding of Lean manufacturing and 6S principles.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to prioritize work, manage schedules, and support production demands.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shipping and receiving operations to support production schedules, customer deliveries, and inventory accuracy.
• Supervise Shipping & Receiving Team Leads and associates to ensure goals, safety standards, and quality expectations.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including scheduling transportation and tracking deliveries via SAP.
• Oversee receiving activities including inventory verification and goods receipt processing.
• Partner cross-functionally with Production, Purchasing, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure smooth material flow.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on warehouse efficiency and accuracy.
• Train, coach, and support employees on SOPs, safety procedures, and warehouse operations.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, ISO, QMS, OSHA, and company policies.
• Perform outbound freight audits and verify shipment quantities against packing lists.
• Maintain high standards for shipment accuracy and customer satisfaction.
