Job summary

Norwood Medical in Dayton, OH is seeking a logistics supervisor to oversee shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling to support manufacturing operations. You will collaborate across Production, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, Customer Service, and Finance to align requirements with material availability, manage relationships with transport providers, and report key logistics metrics.

Qualifications

Experience with ERP systems such as Epicor, SAP, or similar inventory management systems.
Proven leadership in logistics, warehouse operations, or manufacturing.
Strong communication and collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory control, and material handling activities to ensure uninterrupted support of manufacturing operations.
Execute logistics and inventory plans developed in support of operational and production schedules.
Coordinate the movement of raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods to meet customer delivery commitments.
Monitor inventory levels and material availability and elevate supply concerns that may impact production schedules or customer deliveries.
Lead cycle count and inventory reconciliation activities and implement corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy.
