Wayfair is seeking a Logistics & Inventory Specialist to join our Yonkers store operations. You’ll help keep inventory accurate, process shipments, and conduct audits to resolve discrepancies, ensuring a seamless customer experience as we prepare for openings and ongoing store activity.

You’ll work cross-functionally, use cycle counts and WMS tools, and own inventory challenges with a proactive, detail-driven mindset in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifikationen

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–3 years of inventory control experience, preferably in retail.
• 1+ year in distribution or logistics is preferred.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Comfort with evolving tools, systems, and processes.

Aufgaben

• Demonstrates Reliability: be present and punctual for every shift and communicate proactively about issues.
• Ensure Inventory Accuracy: conduct daily audits and maintain Cycle Count Program; track carton details using scanning tech.
• Manage Inventory Performance: monitor aging inventory, process markdowns, and handle returns for recalls or overstock.
• Receive and Process Shipments: unload and record inventory, note overages/shortages/damages.
• Proactively Monitor Systems: use order management tools and Warehouse Management Software to track flow and resolve discrepancies.
• Audit Operations: perform regular inbound/outbound audits to ensure accurate processing and shipping.
• Support Operational Excellence: use ticketing systems to manage exceptions and provide feedback for process improvements.
• Collaborate Across Teams: work with logistics leaders and other departments to maintain standards.
• Adapt and Problem-Solve: own inventory challenges and coordinate between warehouse and retail teams.
• Operate as “One Team”: cross-train across store functions to support peak periods.
