North Coast Seafoods is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Manager to lead all receiving, inventory control, and shipping operations on a shift basis. You will supervise the loading dock, train staff on inventory systems, and ensure on-time, accurate orders while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role reports to the Plant Operations Manager and requires 5+ years in shipping/logistics, 3+ years in people management, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in shipping & receiving, logistics or transportation operations.
• 3+ years experience managing others; food or seafood industry a plus.
• Certified PIT Trainer
• OSHA-10 Certified
• Valid and clean Driver’s License with ability to drive box trucks
• Valid DOT Card
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to lead, coach and train direct reports

Responsabilités

• Oversee the flow of goods; shipping and receiving of product.
• Ensure all department functions comply with company standards.
• Review paperwork for accuracy including weight and lot numbers.
• Train others on inventory system and related processes.
• Organize and monitor storage and distribution of goods as received.
• Ensure orders are picked correctly and shipped on time.
• Provide leadership and development for department staff.
• Track back orders, short-list items, and unfulfilled orders.
• Maintain safety and quality systems across the department
• Drive a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment
