Job summary

Coastal Logistics Group, Inc. is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate for the General Warehouse to efficiently manage shipments and inventory. You will oversee inbound and outbound shipments, maintain accuracy, and uphold safety practices in a dynamic warehouse environment.

Key duties include inspecting incoming shipments, preparing outgoing orders, updating inventory records, and completing required documentation. Flexibility for overtime and weekend shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse shipping/receiving role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to stand long hours and perform physical tasks.
• Proficient with warehouse management systems and basic computer apps.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments, document discrepancies or damages.
• Prepare and ship outgoing orders with proper labeling and documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular counts and audits.
• Monitor quality and report issues to supervisor.
• Complete shipping/receiving paperwork (bills of lading, packing slips, logs).
• Follow safety regulations and wear PPE as required.
• Collaborate with team to resolve issues and ensure timely operations.
