North Coast Seafoods is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to handle receiving, inventory control and cooler operations at our Boston location. You will assist with shipping/receiving, process orders, and maintain the stockroom while ensuring accuracy, safety and on-time delivery under the Shipping & Receiving Manager.

Requires 1+ year experience in shipping/receiving and forklift operation, plus Forklift Certification.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a Shipping or Receiving position.
• 1+ years of experience operating forklifts.
• Experience in food manufacturing; seafood or meat processing a plus.
• Fork-Lift Certification required.
• Able to operate inventory equipment (such as scan guns) required.
• Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to provide support to department managers to achieve goals.
• Able to maintain an environment that drives performance and a safe workplace.

Responsabilités

• Assist with the flow of goods; shipping and receiving of product
• Obtain and process product orders
• Receive, register and distributing packages and letters within the company
• Maintain the company stockroom through organizing, cleaning, and cataloging items
• Assist with large shipments and planning of the logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items
• Keep files of goods shipped and received
• Ensure that the right products are delivered to that right location, on time
• Assist with the assurance that quality, quantity, and customer satisfaction are met
• Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of coolers and warehouse orders
• Tracking and reporting to leadership: back-orders short-list items, and unfulfilled orders
