Job summary

LX Pantos Americas seeks a Head of Logistics Innovation & Planning to lead transformation and planning across its U.S. logistics network. You will drive automation, digital tools, and data-driven decision making to improve productivity, service quality, and profitability.

You will partner with Operations, Sales, Finance, IT, and customers, manage KPI frameworks, lead MBRs/QBRs, and guide strategic investments while mentoring teams and ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• 16+ years of logistics and supply chain management experience.
• Proven experience leading logistics improvement and planning functions.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, transportation management, and supply chain systems.
• Advanced analytical and presentation skills.
• English and Korean language proficiency.

Job description

The Head of Logistics Innovation & Planning is responsible for driving logistics transformation, operational excellence, and strategic planning across LX Pantos America's logistics network. This role leads the development and implementation of innovative supply chain solutions, productivity improvement initiatives, cost optimization programs, and operational planning strategies to support business growth and customer satisfaction. As a strategic partner to Operations, Sales, Finance, IT, and Customers, this position ensures sustainable operational performance, continuous improvement, and long-term profitability through data-driven decision-making and process innovation.

About the Role

The individual in this role is entrusted with authority to lead logistics innovation initiatives, operational planning activities, and strategic improvement programs in alignment with LX Pantos standards for safety, quality, productivity, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

• Develop and execute logistics innovation strategies across warehouse and transportation operations.

2. Supply Chain Planning

• Develop mid-term and long-term logistics planning strategies.
• Support customer growth initiatives through logistics network design and capacity planning.
• Lead labor planning, resource planning, and volume forecasting processes.
• Develop business cases and ROI analyses for strategic investments and operational changes.
• Support annual budgeting and operational planning activities.

3. KPI & Performance Management

• Establish and maintain logistics KPI frameworks.
• Monitor warehouse and transportation performance indicators including productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, service level, and cost metrics.
• Analyze operational performance trends and provide actionable recommendations.
• Lead Monthly Business Reviews (MBR) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with stakeholders.

4. Customer SCM Improvement

• Serve as the primary logistics innovation partner for key strategic customers.
• Identify opportunities for supply chain optimization and cost savings.
• Lead customer-focused process improvement projects.
• Support contract strategy development including Open Book and Closed Book operational models.
• Provide consulting support for customer logistics transformation initiatives.

5. Systems & Digital Transformation

• Lead implementation and enhancement of WMS, TMS, Yard Management, Dock Scheduling, and Visibility platforms.
• Drive data integration projects utilizing ERP, WMS, TMS, ADP, and customer systems.
• Develop logistics dashboards and reporting tools to improve visibility and decision-making.
• Promote data-driven culture through analytics and performance monitoring.

6. Network Optimization

• Support warehouse startup, expansion, consolidation, and closure projects.
• Lead logistics network optimization initiatives.
• Conduct facility layout reviews and storage optimization projects.
• Improve warehouse utilization and resource efficiency.

7. Cross Functional Leadership

• Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Finance, HR, IT, Procurement, and Customer teams.
• Align regional operations with corporate strategies and customer requirements.
• Lead project teams and facilitate cross-functional decision-making.
• Mentor and develop team members on process improvement methodologies.
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 16+ years of logistics and supply chain management experience.
• Proven experience leading logistics improvement and planning functions.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, transportation management, and supply chain systems.
• Experience managing large-scale logistics projects and transformation initiatives.
• Advanced analytical and presentation skills.
• Strong communication skills in English and Korean.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
