Job summary

Maersk in Northlake, IL is seeking a Driver's Helper to assist the driver with loading, unloading, and daily route execution. You will help navigate deliveries, handle freight, and ensure safety protocols are followed in a fast-paced logistics environment.

The role requires lifting up to 75 lbs, good English skills, and teamwork with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Overtime may be required; standard shifts run Monday through Friday with early start times.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a map and have geographic knowledge of the area.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted.
• Strong customer service skills and English literacy.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight and daily route on the truck.
• Assist driver with navigating to deliveries.
• Support safe handling and staging of goods with forklift/pallet jacks.
• Follow TSA and OSHA guidelines and read instructions accurately.
