Logistics General Labor Duties:

1. Handling and executing pick orders and receiving deliveries orders from your team.
2. Load materials from pick orders on to vehicles and ensure load it is secured (strapping loads down on the flatbed truck, or behind the pick-up truck).
3. Assist with deliveries, which include the following: unloading the material, spotting drivers on power equipment, directing traffic, securing materials onto trailer or flat bed, and helping carry material into buildings or areas as needed.
4. Organizing Laydown material and storage containers to meet site demand.
5. Help maintain counts on materials inside the laydown.
6. Having a clear understanding of company policies and goals.
7. Learn to use a new inventory system/equipment and communicate issues to the manager.

Material Handler Duties:

1. Supporting general labors in pulling pick orders.
2. Assist in Loading materials from pick orders on to vehicles and ensure load it is secured (strapping loads down on the flatbed truck, or behind the pick-up truck).
3. Coordinate with Forman on-site on where material will be delivered.
4. Coordinate with Laydown Coordinator on what manpower.
5. Ensure paperwork is filled out properly and signed when delivery is complete.
6. Organizing Laydown material and storage containers to meet site demand.
7. When receiving deliveries, coordinate with Laydown Coordinator on where the material will go. (delivered to Forman on-site or stored in the laydown).
8. Inventory delivery, to ensure we receive the right amount of material and the proper material.
9. Help maintain counts on materials inside the laydown.
10. Learn how to use power equipment to complete daily tasks and deliveries.
11. Having a clear understanding of company policies and goals.
