What You’ll Do:

1. Promote Safety: Take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards.
2. Perform General Physical Activities: Assist with the operation of the plant, including using hand tools, cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials.
3. Repair and Maintain Equipment: Support co-workers in servicing, repairing, and adjusting various plant equipment.
4. Inspect Equipment and Structures: Conduct daily inspections and maintenance to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations that maximize production and minimize interruptions.
5. Operate Vehicles and Equipment: Operate heavy construction equipment or similar machinery to assist with plant operations.
6. Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills You’ll Need:

1. Experience: Previous experience in the aggregate or construction industry is preferred.
2. Knowledge of Best Practices: Familiarity with principles of industrial maintenance, construction, or aggregate production is preferred.
3. Flexibility: Ability to work overtime, extended hours, outdoors in all weather conditions, and tolerate loud noises.
4. Mechanical Skills: Basic knowledge of industrial tools, their uses, and maintenance.

Hourly Range: $21.63 - $26.40, excluding bonuses or equity. Compensation depends on skills, experience, job scope, and market data.
