Job Title : Field Installation Technician, $20 / hr paid weekly - lots of OT!

Job Description

Join our team as a technician, splitting your time between the shop and the field to perform general labor and construction tasks. Your responsibilities include installing and assembling metal parts, using hand and power tools, and working on architectural and ornamental metalwork.

Responsibilities

1. Assist in building and assembling metal and steel panels.
2. Travel to job sites using your personal vehicle.
3. Operate power tools, hand tools, and basic machinery.
4. Perform indoor and outdoor tasks as needed.
5. Lift and carry materials weighing over 50 pounds.
6. Conduct general clean-up and crate parts.
7. Load and unload trucks properly.
8. Sand and prepare metal surfaces.
9. Perform pallet and shrink wrapping tasks.
10. Read tape measures accurately.
11. Use saws and other cutting tools.
12. Utilize electric sanders and combo squares.
13. Operate band saws and table saws.
14. Perform grinding, polishing, and sanding.
15. Willingness to train on and become certified in forklift operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in general labor and construction.
• Familiarity with landscaping and production tasks.
• Knowledge of welding and glazing is a plus.
