Job Summary:

We are seeking a General Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will support scrapyard operations through manual labor tasks. The ideal candidate is a hard worker capable of meeting the physical demands of the job.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean work environment by picking up trash or other potentially hazardous materials
• Transport materials and equipment between locations
• Operate power tools and industrial equipment safely
• Separate metals into proper locations
• Load materials into shear and balers
• Assist customers with unloading
• Perform other manual labor tasks as directed by the foreman or supervisor
• Report unsafe conditions or equipment needing repair

Qualifications:

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods
• Strong attention to detail
• Adherence to all safety rules and regulations
• Knowledge of power tools and industrial machinery is preferred
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Additional certifications or apprenticeship experience are a plus but not required
