Responsibilities

• Inbound: daily scheduling and receiving of shipments, monitor ETAs, deliver to end users, complete receiving transactions.
• Outbound: daily execution of outbound shipping, packing, transportation mode selection, shipping documents, pickups, tendering shipments, monitoring through delivery.
• Identify and resolve inbound/outbound shipment delays and exceptions.
• Maintain relationships with transportation providers, update rates and contact info.
• Produce daily inbound/outbound volume reports and quarterly provider performance reports.

Position Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Logistics Coordinator to join our QCi Supply chain and Fulfillment team. In this vital role, you will support the execution of inbound receiving and outbound shipping activities at our Hoboken, NJ location. The Logistics Coordinator will work closely with inbound and outbound transportation providers, as well as internal QCi members in our Hoboken location and other locations in the U.S. to ensure that all product movement is completed on time, accurately and efficiently in accordance with QCi business requirements. We are looking for a hands-on, highly organized Logistics Coordinator who works well in a fast paced, dynamic environment and is ready to be an enthusiastic member of the QCi team.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Inbound: Daily scheduling and receiving of all shipments, including monitoring ETAs, delivery to end users within QCi, and completion of receiving transactions
• Outbound: Daily execution of all outbound shipping activities, including packing and preparing shipments, transportation mode and service level selection, shipping document preparation, coordinating and scheduling pickups with transportation providers, tendering shipments to drivers, completing shipping transactions and monitoring shipments through to delivery
• Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve inbound and outbound shipment delays, shipment exceptions and requests to modify shipment delivery requirements
• Transportation: Maintain and establish relationships with transportation providers, including up-to-date rate information, contact lists, account representatives, non-service or holiday schedules and scope of services offered
• Reporting: Daily inbound and outbound volume activity reports and quarterly transportation provider performance reports

Required Skills & Experience:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, shipping or supply chain operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong problem-solving skill

Additional Preferred Skills:

• Experience with logistics systems, including shipping systems
• Experience with domestic and international shipping requirements
