J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. is seeking a Manager Trainee to begin a structured path into fleet operations leadership.

The role involves learning to manage a small driver count, coordinating with drivers and carriers, and supporting payroll, budgeting, and reporting activities. Training will cover DOT compliance and safety standards to prepare for progressive responsibilities. Candidates should be prepared to work nights or weekends as needed and relocate regionally based on account

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management, Transportation/Logistics, or related field, or HS diploma with 1 year of relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel to account, customer, and company events.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts including nights and weekends.
• Willingness to regionally relocate depending on account assignment.

Mansioni

• Learn to build and maintain positive relationships with drivers and safe, reliable outside carriers to ensure smooth carrier setup and productivity.
• Fill in for absent personnel and support special projects related to fleet optimization and profitability.
• Learn to train drivers and staff and assist with internal and third-party systems.
• Analyze and present customer-specific reporting and financial analysis to support decisions and performance showcases.
• Gain knowledge on inventory, assets, and driver assignments to balance equipment across markets.
• Assist with payroll, budgeting, invoicing, and other administrative duties as needed.
• Coordinate with maintenance for fleet upkeep and safety-related issues.
