Job summary

Allan Myers is seeking an entry-level, full-time specialist to support equipment and transportation management across our Virginia footprint. You will assist with cost management, invoicing, and fleet scheduling while learning from teams that operate large-scale construction projects.

The role involves tracking equipment via GPS, coordinating with Transportation and PM teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in a related field (Business Management, Supply Chain, or Logistics).
Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong teamwork and communication skills with customer service orientation.
Independent problem-solver with good work ethic.
Experience with process management is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assists Equipment Manager with cost management and review.
Secondary invoice reviewer and approver.
Manages equipment billing and daily rate issues.
Assists PM Coordinator, Shop Forman, and Superintendent as needed.
Tracks inspections, registrations, and permits for equipment, trucks, and trailers; ensures regulatory compliance.
Assists with truck and equipment maintenance planning and scheduling.
Uses telematic GPS to track equipment locations and support maintenance planning.
Assists with equipment fuel planning logistics and collaborates with Transportation Department.
Works with Transportation Department to ensure accuracy of equipment locations and reporting.
Performs other tasks and projects as assigned.
