Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Kenosha, WI is seeking a Dispatcher to schedule and expedite shipments of finished goods to job sites, coordinating with production and maintaining backlog reports. You will manage all carrier communications and ensure on-time delivery while upholding safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in dispatch, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of dispatch experience or similar scheduling role.
• Understanding of safety and transportation requirements.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage time and resources effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepares weekly shipment schedule and communicates plan to customers and production.
• Adjusts schedule to meet customer needs and ensure on-time delivery.
• Communicates job status and delivery times to customers.
• Resolves schedule conflicts to ensure accurate invoicing and shipments.
• Prepares shipment documents and related certifications for each shipment.
• Researches transportation vendors and cost-saving programs.
• Maintains vehicle maintenance records and records on TSC website.
• Handles high volumes of calls, prioritizing pickups and deliveries.
• Ensures safety practices including load securement.
