Job summary

Syfan Logistics is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support the operations team by communicating with carriers and customers to ensure on-time shipments and reliable service. You will manage load information, coordinate with drivers, and document activities in the TMS while maintaining strong relationships and high professional standards.

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer proficiency for MS Office, TMS, customer web sites.
• Excellent organizational, time management, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt quickly to changing situations.
• Willingness to receive coaching and follow procedures and management directions.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a high call volume team environment.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch carriers by phone and computer efficiently.
• Manage load information with pickup/delivery times in the TMS.
• Track driver movements to shippers and receivers.
• Direct and resolve inbound calls to obtain status updates.
• Update Sales Reps on delays or issues as required.
• Validate load data and request documentation for discrepancies.
• Document communications in the TMS logs.
• Identify load issues and help implement solutions.
• Perform duties to support optimal operations.
