Job summary

Responsibilities include scheduling, communicating with customers and internal teams, and maintaining accurate logs. Minimum 2 years’ related experience and strong MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to quickly and accurately perform basic math.
• Ability to quickly read a road/geographical map and communicate directions.
• Demonstrated ability to follow instructions with limited guidance.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receiving, warehousing and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies.
• Comply with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements and enforce adherence.
• Complete warehouse/delivery requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on results.
• Communicate with customers, drivers, vendors, and internal departments to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Respond promptly to schedule changes, delays, emergencies and other operational challenges.
• Maintain dispatch logs, delivery records, service documentation, and transportation reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and applicable transportation requirements.
• Coordinate with personnel to ensure service meets acceptable standards and generates positive feedback.
• Cooperate with safety team and risk management to investigate hazards and reduce losses.
