Job summary

PLA Holdings in Midlothian, TX is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to route drivers, review logs for DOT compliance, and reconcile invoices in the TMS. You will work with the Freight Brokerage team to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in transportation coordination, dispatch, or logistics.
• High school diploma or GED required; associate/bachelor's preferred.
• MS Office proficiency; MercuryGate or similar TMS experience preferred.
• DOT/FMCSA hours-of-service knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Route drivers and coordinate daily start times and assignments.
• Review driver logs for DOT compliance and escalate issues.
• Enter and reconcile transportation invoices and docs in the TMS.
• Track loads/status and provide timely customer updates.
• Coordinate with operations to align schedules with docks.
