You will dispatch drivers, respond to driver calls, ensure DOT compliance, and maintain shipment paperwork while updating dispatch records. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of related experience; 1 year industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of local geographic market and basic math skills.
• Accurate typing and data-entry abilities; ability to read and complete checklists.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Client needs and commitments are met.
• Dispatch drivers and respond to Drivers calls.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
• Notify drivers of assignments and direct their activities to ensure cargo is picked up and delivered.
• Maintain information on shipments and ensures proper paperwork required.
• Update data base on all dispatched move.
• Other duties as assigned.
