Position Summary
The Logistics & Operations Coordinator manages daily transportation, logistics, and scheduling to move product efficiently between our facility, 3PL partners, and customers. This role maintains NetSuite data integrity, monitors operational reports, and drives process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Transportation & Scheduling
- Coordinate daily outbound/inbound shipments with carriers and 3PL partners (including cold storage).
- Manage delivery/pickup schedules to meet production timelines and customer needs.
- Track shipment status and resolve delays, shortages, or scheduling conflicts.
- Maintain and update transportation/dock schedules.
- Data Maintenance
- Ensure accuracy of inventory shipped to and from the facility.
- Perform regular data entry, cleanup, and validation to support reporting.
- Partner with systems/IT to flag data issues or process gaps.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Review recurring operational reports (inventory, fill rate, fulfillment, shipping).
- Identify and resolve patterns of shortages or inefficiencies.
- Summarize operational findings for management decision-making.
- Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline logistics, scheduling, and data workflows.
- Recommend and implement process changes to reduce manual workarounds.
- Support the rollout of new system tools or logistics enhancements.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or operations (food/beverage or manufacturing preferred).
- Systems: ERP experience required; NetSuite strongly preferred. Familiarity with EDI is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data exports/imports).
- Soft Skills: Excellent organization, detail-oriented, communication, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Work Environment
- Office-based with regular warehouse/production interaction.
- Occasional after-hours response required for urgent shipping issues.

salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Additional Responsibilities
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or operations coordination (food/beverage or manufacturing industry a plus).
- Experience with ERP systems required; NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
