Responsibilities

• Maintain customer profiles and enter loads into Freight Optimizer.

• Take driver calls and verify load data before marking delivered.
• Investigate overages, shortages, damages, and document findings.
• Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments; accept/decline loads as directed.
• Provide clear routing directions to drivers.

Logistics & Operations Coordinator

Looking to step into a steady role where your organization skills actually get noticed? We’re adding two new team members to a great 5-6 person team supporting a major new account!

In this role, you’ll use tech and software systems to keep daily operations moving smoothly and help us build out clear processes. You don't need a heavy logistics background and dispatch experience is a nice bonus, but we’re mostly looking for someone who is organized, tech-savvy, reliable, and great with details.

What to Know About the Schedule: We need candidates who are super flexible with their hours. You’ll work either Mon–Fri or Tue–Sat (with a weekday off if you work Saturday), flexing between a 7:00 AM or 12:00 PM start time. The overall operational window is 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM, but Saturday shift hours can differ!

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders into the Freight Optimizer system
• Update account managers on problem loads and what actions have been taken; update receivers and customers on status of loads
• Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries; verify that loads have arrived on time and in good condition
• Take check calls from drivers, ensuring that loads will deliver on time; validate all load data prior to marking loads delivered, for accounting purposes
• Investigate product overages, shortages, damages, and complete appropriate documentation
• Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments for all loads; accept or decline loads based on direction from account managers
• Provide detailed directions and instructions to properly route drivers
