Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
What You’ll Do
- Manage and complete freight documentation requests (bills of lading, delivery tickets, etc.) for internal teams
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery confirmations from drivers and third-party carriers
- Communicate with drivers and carriers via phone, email, and text to drive data accuracy and compliance
- Provide frontline support for logistics applications; troubleshoot issues and escalate when needed
- Assist with order entry and updates in internal systems and dispatch platforms (including TRIPS)
- Review and validate system data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
- Monitor trends in documentation and data entry errors; help identify opportunities for improvement
- Generate and analyze reports related to carrier performance, delivery timelines, and data quality
- Partner with leadership and IT to support system updates, enhancements, and process improvements
- Participate in projects aimed at improving efficiency and operational workflows
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or customer support
- Strong attention to detail and high level of data accuracy
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with logistics systems, data entry, and reporting tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Teams
- Customer-focused mindset with a collaborative approach
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- Experience with dispatch or transportation systems
- Familiarity with freight documentation and logistics processes
- Experience analyzing reports and performance metrics
- Background in trucking, fuel, or transportation industries

Job Type & Location
Contract to Hire position based out of Knoxville, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
