Job summary

Oberweis is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate transportation and delivery operations, including OTR routes, dairy store deliveries, home deliveries, and warehouse inbound activity. You will ensure drivers, equipment, and shipments are scheduled efficiently, and you will maintain documentation for billing, payroll, and compliance.

This role requires strong organizational skills, clear communication with drivers and store contacts, and proficiency with dispatch software and handheld devices.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of dispatch or logistics experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Clear, professional communication with drivers and customers.
• Proficiency with dispatch software and handheld devices.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, build, and adjust over-the-road driver routes to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.
• Coordinate delivery schedules for dairy store locations and home deliveries.
• Maintain accurate documentation for billing, payroll and compliance.
• Generate and verify Bills of Lading for loads.
• Track driver hours and routes to support payroll processing.
• Maintain accuracy of handheld devices and data.
