Job summary

RealREPP, a full-service recruiting firm, is assisting a growing building systems expert in hiring a Logistics Director for operations at a new MEP fabrication site in Northern California. The role oversees a team of Supervisors and unionized personnel, driving safety, accuracy, and performance in a high-volume environment.

The ideal candidate has extensive logistics experience, strong leadership, and a track record of improving efficiency across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in logistics, supply-chain management, construction management, operations or related field
• 10+ years of logistics experience with at least 5 years in people management
• Experience overseeing regional or multi-location logistics networks preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee vehicle traffic and all shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Manage local logistics movements between on-campus and off-site facilities
• Lead and develop a team of Supervisors and unionized personnel
• Drive process efficiency and innovation across all logistics activities
• Evaluate vendor and carrier performance and provide actionable feedback
• Partner with operations to manage inbound shipments from international suppliers
• Ensure safety policy compliance and documentation accuracy
• Coordinate maintenance for vehicles, trailers, and logistics assets
