RealREPP, a full-service recruiting firm, is assisting a growing building systems expert in hiring a Logistics Director for operations at a new MEP fabrication site in Northern California. The role oversees a team of Supervisors and unionized personnel, driving safety, accuracy, and performance in a high-volume environment.

The ideal candidate has extensive logistics experience, strong leadership, and a track record of improving efficiency across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in logistics, supply-chain management, construction management, operations or related field
• 10+ years of logistics experience with at least 5 years in people management
• Experience overseeing regional or multi-location logistics networks preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

RealREPP, a full-service recruiting firm, is currently teaming with a growing, stable, and nationally recognized building systems expert to assist them in hiring a Logistics Director in undefined, undefined.

This Logistics Director will oversee logistics operations at a new MEP fabrication site, managing a team and driving efficiency and innovation in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a proven logistics professional who excels at optimizing operations, leading people, and maintaining exceptional standards for safety, accuracy, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vehicle traffic and all shipments in and out of the facility, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage local logistics movements between on-campus and off-site facilities.
• Lead and develop a team of Supervisors and unionized logistics personnel, fostering collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Drive process efficiency and innovation across all logistics activities.
• Evaluate vendor and carrier performance and provide actionable feedback to optimize service quality.
• Partner with operations teams to manage inbound shipments from international suppliers.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies, compliance requirements, and company standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and data tracking related to logistics operations.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules for vehicles, trailers, and logistics assets to ensure reliability and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply-chain management, construction management, operations, business, engineering, or a related field preferred
• Preferred 10+ years’ experience in Logistics, with at least five years’ experience as a people manager
• Regular travel between company warehouses, fabrication shops, jobsites, and other facilities throughout Northern California.
• Experience overseeing a regional or multi-location logistics network is strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in warehouse, fabrication-shop, yard, and active construction-site environments.
• Strong analytical and project management skills
