Job summary

RealREPP is partnering with a growing building systems expert to hire a Logistics Director for a new MEP fabrication site. You will oversee logistics operations, guide a team of Supervisors and unionized personnel, and drive safety, accuracy, and performance in a high-volume setting.

The role requires strong leadership, a track record of optimizing operations, and the ability to partner with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Logistics with at least 5 years in people management.
• Willing to travel between facilities in Northern California.
• Experience overseeing regional or multi-location logistics networks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in warehouse, fabrication-shop, yard and active construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vehicle traffic and all shipments in and out of the facility, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead and develop a team of Supervisors and unionized logistics personnel.
• Drive process efficiency and innovation across logistics activities.
• Evaluate vendor and carrier performance and provide actionable feedback to optimize service quality.
• Partner with operations teams to manage inbound shipments from international suppliers.
• Maintain documentation, reporting, and data tracking related to logistics operations.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules for vehicles, trailers, and logistics assets to ensure reliability and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies, compliance requirements, and company standards.
