Job summary

TopHAT Logistical Solutions, a division of Atlas Logistics, is seeking a Delivery Coordinator to manage high-volume final mile deliveries. You will coordinate routes, track shipments, and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors.

This full-time role runs 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday, with potential overtime during peak season; 40 hours weekly, benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/Equivalent required.
• 5-8 years' related experience or mix of education and experience.
• Effective problem-solving, oral, and written communication skills.
• Experience in Logistics/In-Home Delivery is a plus.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations preferred.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with employees, clients, and outside organizations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and supporting deliveries from beginning to end, serving as the expert for questions and problems.
• Routing and assigning daily routes within Dispatch Track for each delivery team.
• Tracking and ensuring merchandise is accurately accounted for, handled, and delivered.
• Daily and weekly collection of operational data and performance report assessments.
• Building relationships and establish effective communication with customers, clients, and staff to improve operations.
• Ensuring daily truck inspections and safety measures are met.

The Delivery Coordinator helps to manage the success of our operation in a high-volume home delivery environment. To be successful, the coordinator must maintain strong customer, colleague, and vendor relationships, and have a strong knowledge of safety protocols and proper delivery procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinating and supporting deliveries from beginning to end, serving as the expert for answering questions and solving problems related to deliveries.
• Routing and assigning daily routes within Dispatch Track for each delivery team.
• Tracking and ensuring merchandise is accurately accounted for, handled, and delivered.
• Daily and weekly collection of operational data and performance report assessments.
• Building relationships and establish effective communication with customers, clients, and staff to ensure continued and expanding operating improvements.
• Ensuring daily truck inspections + safety measures are met.
• Other duties may be assigned.
