Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Remarketing Administrative Operations Specialist to support the vehicle trade-in process and execute lienholder payoffs. The role ensures accurate trade-in documentation and compliance, with responsibilities to hand off finalized documents to third-party partners for resale.

The candidate will help meet KPI targets, thrive in a fast-paced automotive/tech environment, and identify process bottlenecks.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with lienholders and DMVs in a dealership or auto auction setting.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience in automotive or remarketing.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; travel up to 25% to support market launches and operations.
• Proficiency with computers and software including Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong navigation of internal platforms.
• Expert proficiency with Salesforce.
• Ability to obtain and maintain local sales licenses if applicable in your state/province.
• Active notary license or eligibility to obtain one in your state/province (preferred).
• Adaptable to a fast-paced environment; strong teamwork and autonomous work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Achieve department and company KPI goals.
• Obtain lienholder payoffs and execute payments on traded-in vehicles.
• Maintain professional communication with stakeholders.
• Partner with Delivery teams on incoming trade-in documents.
• Ensure DMV compliance in all 50 states.
• Assist with auction sales and manage transaction jackets and title follow-ups.
• Develop relationships across the organization and support company goals.
• Communicate company vision clearly and drive team accountability.
