Riverside Transport in Kansas City, KS seeks a Customer Service/Dispatch Specialist to support drivers and customers by phone and email, ensuring timely responses and accurate order processing.

You will check orders, set appointments, update the TMW system, coordinate with Fleet Managers, and handle load changes, damaged freight, and safety coordination as needed. Strong communication and teamwork are required.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months to one year related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Mansioni

• Communicate by phone and email to ensure timely and effective response.
• Check order entries for accuracy and update orders with rates.
• Make appointments as loads are tendered and update system records.
• Notify customer locations of upcoming deliveries.
• Manage damaged freight issues in coordination with Safety/HR and the customer.
