Job summary

Riverside Transport is seeking a Driver Manager in Kansas City to supervise drivers and act as the primary communication link between drivers and operations. You will aim to maximize driver and customer satisfaction while maintaining data integrity and timely reporting.

Responsibilities include coordinating loads, maintenance, and service schedules, counseling drivers on performance, and collaborating with Load Planners and service teams to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Responsibilities

• Sole communications link to driver, including load information, advances, purchase orders, maintenance coordination, performance counseling and dissemination of general company news.
• Manage assigned fleet to achieve optimum driver and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure data entry accuracy and timely reporting to HR and Safety.
