Job summary

Burnett Specialists Staffing is seeking a Customer Service Supervisor-Logistics to lead a fast-paced team in handling customer accounts, billing, and logistics support. This hands-on leadership role requires balancing strategic oversight with day-to-day account management and issue resolution.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5+ years of leadership experience in customer service or logistics, strong Excel skills, and experience with high-volume billing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business/logistics or related field.
• 2–5+ years of leadership experience in customer service, operations, logistics, or related area.
• Experience managing customer accounts, invoicing, reconciliations, and issue resolution.
• Background in high-volume logistics, transportation, supply chain, or related environment preferred.
• Experience with JD Edwards, TMS platforms, Ariba, OpenInvoice, or similar systems is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills; able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage key customer accounts from order processing through invoicing and issue resolution.
• Supervise and coach a customer service team while remaining hands-on with assigned accounts.
• Oversee high-volume billing, invoicing, account inquiries, and dispute resolution.
• Review billing and operational data to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
• Serve as an escalation point for customer issues and service disruptions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Dispatch, Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, Credit, and Collections.
• Support account reconciliations and resolve outstanding billing issues.
• Monitor team performance, workloads, service levels, and productivity.
• Identify process improvements to increase billing accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
