Job summary

Ohio Logistics in Painted Post, NY is seeking a warehouse-related associate for a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The role carries a wage range of $16.50–$21.50 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, vacation, paid sick time, and a strong 401(k) match. The position focuses on coordinating shipments, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring customer specifications are met through daily communication

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Able to operate a computer, email and basic Excel.
• Drug-free and able to pass a drug test.
• Flexible schedule to meet customer needs.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with co-workers and direct supervisor to receive instructions and coordinate activities.
• Communicate with customers and outside vendors daily to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, work environment placing all items in an orderly manner per 5S values.
• Operate within the documented QMS (Quality Management System).
• Coordinate finished goods shipment to meet customer demands.
• Use warehouse management system to schedule inventory for shipments in FIFO order per customer requirements.
• Notify/Communicate with customers with any issues with shipment or scheduling.
• Follow all standard operating and rules of thumb procedures for shipments and depletions of customer inventory.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Communicate daily with customer to ensure all finished goods shipments are done to meet third party customer specifications. Communicate with trucking companies to plan accordingly for shipments. Remove inventory from company and customer data base in accordance with depletion procedures.
