Kelly is seeking a 3rd Shift Logistics Customer Service Representative in Medina, OH to support orders, pricing, and capacity procurement. You’ll create orders, negotiate rates, update customers, and assist the sales team in generating leads.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders, giving pricing information, and performing consultative sales.
• Explain services and benefits to assist procurement of capacity and generate sales leads.
• Support new and existing customer accounts to foster business development.
• Create orders, procure loads, negotiate rates, and resolve freight-related issues.
• Update customers on shipments via phone, email, and web channels.
• Facilitate communication with owner operators or outside agents to deliver cost-effective shipment solutions.
• Maintain order documentation accuracy and monitor shipments for on-time performance.
• Suggest process improvements for operational excellence.

What’s a typical day as Logistics Customer Service Representative? You’ll be

• Providing outstanding customer service to internal and external customers by taking orders, giving pricing information, and performing consultative sales
• Explaining services and benefits to customers to assist with procurement of capacity and generating business leads for the sales organization
• Supporting new and existing customer accounts to foster business development
• Creating orders, procuring loads, negotiating rates, and resolving freight-related issues
• Updating customers regarding shipments via phone, email, and web-based channels

• Maintaining accuracy in order documentation and monitoring shipments to ensure on-time performance
• Suggesting process improvements for continuous operational excellence
