Job summary

Forward Air Corporation is seeking a Customer Relations Coordinator to provide front-line administrative and customer service support for shipments, documentation, and communications. The role involves tracking, scheduling, and billing-related tasks at an on-site site in a multimodal logistics environment.

You will interact with customers, carriers, drivers, and internal teams to ensure timely updates and accurate processing.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience in customer service, admin support, logistics or transport preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
Clear written and verbal communication with a customer-focused approach.
Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced team environment.
Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

Serve as a central contact for customers, carriers, drivers and internal teams.
Provide front-line customer service for shipment status and documentation requests.
Data entry for shipment details, orders and operational records.
Track and trace shipments; communicate updates to customers and teams.
Coordinate pickups, deliveries and routine operational activities.
Prepare shipping documents such as AWBs, BOLs, labels and POD.
Support accounts payable/receivable and billing tasks.
Maintain organized electronic and physical files.
Assist with freight acceptance and on-site tasks as needed.
Participate in training, meetings, and process improvements.
