Join to apply for the Logistics Coordinator - Transportation role at NFI.

Overview

The Logistics Coordinator provides overall direction throughout the Dedicated Fleet operation and offers operational assistance to the Project Manager as needed.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain positive working relations with all drivers.
2. Communicate service issues to relevant internal and external personnel.
3. Perform load planning, driver scheduling, and dispatch duties using Dedicated Fleet and Common Carrier resources.
4. Coordinate daily data entry into NFI’s proprietary order-management system, TMW.
5. Coordinate with the invoicing team to ensure timely and accurate customer invoices.
6. Ensure the completion of daily and weekly tasks accurately and on time.
7. Provide weekly KPI/performance reports to internal and external stakeholders.
8. Schedule truck and trailer maintenance daily.
9. Collaborate with the safety department on DriveCam, driver compliance, and HOS issues.
10. Assist with implementing NFI’s safety, security, and labor policies.
11. Provide coverage across departments during vacations or holidays if needed.
12. Manage and maintain driver payroll.
13. Audit and approve driver expense reports.
14. Assist the Project Manager as required.

Qualifications

1. 2-3 years of experience in logistics and/or transportation.
2. Proficiency in MS Office and TMW preferred.
3. Strong customer service, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
5. Ability to multitask efficiently.
6. Willingness to work extended hours if necessary.
