Job summary
viaPhoton is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Naperville, IL to oversee shipping and receiving operations and ensure on-time delivery of fiber optic products. You will collaborate with production and logistics partners, maintain accurate documentation, and drive high-precision inventory and ERP transactions.
The role requires attention to detail, familiarity with shipping regulations, and the ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts, with a first-shift schedule and comprehensive benefits
Qualifications
- Experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in manufacturing.
- Basic computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Knowledge of shipping regulations, customs procedures and supply chain logistics.
- Attention to detail with focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to operate pallet jack and forklifts safely.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day warehouse operations, including stock moves and inventory management.
- Coordinate with production teams to prioritize shipments based on customer requirements.
- Work with freight carriers to arrange transportation and maintain shipping documentation.
- Prepare documentation for shipments, including packing lists and customs declarations.
- Oversee receiving of materials, complete ERP transactions and reconciliations.
- Monitor quality metrics for inbound and outbound deliveries.
