Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking Logistics Specialists in Nashville for a contract-to-hire role focused on managing daily freight movements within our North American fulfillment network.

The ideal candidate will coordinate with carriers and vendors, analyze data, and drive improvements in transportation operations while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, in-office environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain is preferred.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills using Excel/SQL.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with external customers (carriers, vendors) regularly.
• Pull and analyze data from databases and prepare ad hoc reports.
• Review schedules and data to make business decisions and improvements.
• Develop narratives of weekly findings and present them in reviews.
• Support process improvements to enhance transportation efficiency.
• Define business and functional requirements for software tools.
• Identify data trends and act on insights.
