Job summary

Tofurky in Hood River, OR seeks an Entry level Logistics Coordinator I to support on-time order fulfillment from receipt to delivery. You will process orders in ERP/EDI systems and portals, coordinate routine shipping activities, and communicate order status to customers and internal teams.

The role also involves assisting with the investigation of carrier charges, deductions, and claims, maintaining accurate data, and coordinating with third-party logistics providers in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with an ERP system, EDI platform, or customer ordering portal preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain customer orders in ERP, EDI, and portals, verifying order details and ship-to information.
• Monitor open orders, product availability, and shipment status; coordinate with internal teams.
• Coordinate routine carrier pickups, shipment scheduling, delivery appointments, and tracking.
• Prepare and verify fulfillment documentation (bills of lading, shipment confirmations, advance ship notices, proof of delivery).
• Follow up on routine order and shipment exceptions and escalate issues to the Supply Chain Manager.
• Assist with investigating and disputing carrier charges, deductions, and related claims.
• Maintain accurate order/shipment data in systems and trackers.
• Support customer setup by gathering requirements and maintaining routing/shipping instructions.
